Get Empathy
Walk a mile in someone else's shoes

It's hard to understand someone else unless you've been in there position before.  Like for example Harriet Tubman understood others in the Underground Railroad because she was in there position once.  She was like all the other people that were slaves.  When they get out they wont to stay free.  But Harriet Tubman stayed and helped she risked her freedom for others.

Martin Luther king jr. had a dream that one-day man and women will be created equal no matter what sex or color or religion.  And he fought for it and fought it.  He died but his dream did come true and it just goes to show you that one person can make a difference.

I think that empathy is in everyone, they just have to find it and embrace it. If you embrace it you will do wonderful things.  You could save peoples lives.  You may die, but you'll be dying for other people's freedom like Martin Luther King, Jr. did. This has influenced me to care more for others and put others before myself. In the future I will make choices that will help others and me.

"Small deeds done are better than great deeds planned."
